ATTENTION PLAYERS - THIS EVENT IS GOING BACK TO THE OLD PARK ALSO KNOWN AS MANDERACH PLAYGROUND. WE HAVE A TWO YEAR HIATUS FROM THE LINFIELD SPORTS PARK AS THEY NOW UNDERGO RENOVATIONS TO LEVEL THE FIELDS AND REPLACE THE OLD BUILDING. THIS WILL RESULT IN A MUCH NICER AND PLAYER FRIENDLY PARK.
Welcome to the 5th Annual Norristown Crush Volleyball Tournament. The Crush is a grass volleyball tournament featuring Men's, Women's, and Junior Girl's doubles on Saturday July 28th. On Sunday July 29th play will include Co-Ed Doubles along with Mens, Womens, and Juniors Quads divisions.
The Crush has established itself as one of the can't miss events for the summer season. This year will be no different. Last year the cash prizes to win some of the non-pro divisions were unheard of. $400 to win both Men's A and BB divisions with an overall cash prize pool of $900 in each division was just what the players wanted and deserved. Women's BB Doubles paying out over $400 in cold cash. No more overinflated prize packages for the players where the promoters just rake in the cash. Noone deserves that. Our prizes are just cash...cold hard cash. Come get it if you can.The Norristown Crush Volleyball Group has been listening to your suggestions/comments. Honestly this is the only event around that pays out substantial amounts of cash to the non pro divisions.
The Norristown Crush is a players tournament in the truest sense of the word. Most of our best ideas come from the players and we appreciate it. Keep them coming...this is your tournament.
